Acoustic gratings from ALARA are widely applicable. However, the conditions in which the gratings are applied can differ widely. The design can be made suitable specifically to the needs of the market, in this case for maritime conditions.

Our acoustic grilles are custom-made at all times, however, several standardised acoustic designs can be used. Briefly presented and increasing in sound performance: AL-R/150, AL-R/300, AL-R/300V & AL-R/600V. AL-R/300V and AL-R/600V grilles were used in this project, these have Rw values of 20 dB and 27 dB respectively.

In consultation, dimensions were determined after advice for optimal ventilation, making best use of the limited space available.

The acoustic gratings were recently delivered and received on time by Kooiman Marine Group. With this, they say the cooperation went well and to their satisfaction.
