Summer Barbecue 2026 at ALARA
ALARA is holding its annual summer barbecue
Last Friday, we all enjoyed our annual summer barbecue together. Due to the high temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius and the tropical working hours in place, we started an hour earlier this year and moved to a shady spot on our premises. At 2.00 pm, we kicked off the afternoon with a refreshing drink and a convivial atmosphere. In the warm summer weather, the caterers Grill & Smoke provided delicious snacks and drinks, which rounded off the afternoon perfectly.
With the 2026 World Cup as the theme, there was also plenty of opportunity for sporting challenges. For example, our talented young footballers were able to show off their skills in front of the football goal and score points for the honour.
Thank you to Cees Bassa for his many years of dedication
We also took a special moment to honour Cees Bassa, Maritime Account Manager, in light of his upcoming retirement. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on his many years of dedication and contribution to ALARA. Thank you also to all our colleagues for attending and for their enthusiasm in making this farewell for Cees a memorable occasion. Together, we can look back on a successful and enjoyable start to the summer!
